Depending on each individual patient and their personal history, oftentimes a single embryo transfer is the best option to hopefully achieve the goal of a healthy live birth and a good obstetrical outcome.
It is important to educate patients on the possible benefits of a single embryo transfer and the possible risks associated with the transfer of more than one embryo.
